You know the old saying, "Time Flies When You're Having Fun"... Well obviously I've been having too much fun lately because the days have been flying past at an alarmingly high rate of speed.
Just this morning I woke up and I thought to myself that I was happy to have all these 'busy' days behind me finally, and that hopefully the days would creep by a little slower. It didn't quite work out that way, since I just had a peek at the clock and noticed that it was already much later than I anticipated it to be. Another day zips past.
Maybe if I try getting up a little earlier- maybe then I'll have the time to accomplish my daily tasks instead of carrying half of them over into the next day.
At least they aren't going anywhere are they?
One thing I've definitely noticed is that Autumn is upon us, and while noticing that, I've also noticed that the Autumn temps seem a little cooler than usual. I wonder if that means that we'll have a colder than average winter, and possibly a white Christmas?
One can only hope, pray, and cross her fingers. I believe I've only had two or three white Christmases in my entire life, which of course makes them even more special because they aren't a yearly thing. Maybe if I lived in the great 'white' north, I wouldn't be so fond of the powdery white stuff, and definitely not fond of a White Christmas, or can anyone really NOT like waking up on Christmas morning to see the ground freshly covered with the beautiful white stuff?
Since it hasn't quite gotten cool enough to turn on the heater, my fingers are feeling the cool temps in our home, so that means I believe I'll take off and get myself a huge cup of coffee, curl up under the covers and relax.
